smoke

Cache Creek, British Columbia

wildfires are consuming the province in a dramatic developement...firefighters are overwhelemed, but luckily support fire crews are arriving from the Yukon. Alberta, Mexico, and Australia...from the USA only threatening tariffs for south-drifting smoke...all support of the current USA regime is nebulous and misguided

one of the fires is not far north of Cache Creek, near Clinton, and has precipitated evacuations of local residents

The fires sound terrifying and I wish our countries could be allies again. V

So sorry about the fires up there and even more sorry about what the US has become. Hoping there are enough of us that can turn it around in November.

Excellent night capture....Meanwhile, American concern seems focused more on drifting smoke and tariffs than on meaningful assistance....V

Terrific night capture. Love the colored lights and the headlights of the big rig coming at us.
