getting out of the car, usually a twisting experience, while yanking up a couple of heavy shopping bags, has resulted in severe back pains for a week now...drastic measures have been needed to alleviate the discomfort

luckily the ever alert Irish produce effective pain-killers

The glass becomes more than a still life, it feels like a small ritual of relief, a break in discomfort, a moment reclaimed....V

The glass creates a beautiful shadow and a caustic effect as the light passes through it.
I hope you feel better soon!

I'm sorry to hear of your back pain - I can truly relate. Rest and plenty of liquid will hopefully do the trick. The Irish and the Scottish both have effective remedies.
