eviction

I must confess to having recently evicted this brazen squatter, who moved in during autumn...it caught only a few small flies, grew in size, yet faced eventual starvation...a sleight-of-hand-capture, and expulsion to the outdoors, seemed the most humane, or perhaps arachnological (?), solution

Straight from the movie "The invasion of the arachnids!" 😉 V

The steep diagonal suggests this murky intruder was tipped out of the picture, which is kind of what happened. I find the shot riveting. V

You certainly got an amazing image before the eviction!
This is really awesome photography!

An awesome composition with a somewhat foreboding air. After a rather frightening exerience with a spider bite last year I've been giving them a wide berth and evicting when necessary.

I am very glad you gave this one a second chance. many wouldn't, given that spiders have a bad rap for some reason. Cool shot. V

Just what I do David..can’t kill even the little creatures…with the exception of mosquitoes and ticks as they are evil…hopefully it will be now settled in a new home outside…BV

I saved a few spiders too….but they got to go, especially one that big. An unnerving sight. V

Great shot, but I would have evicted it as well. It was good of you to put it outside for a chance of survival.

I commend you for your care in assisting this squatter.
