palatial

London, England

yet another from gadding about the globe, in fact en route to Greece...this is the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, in Russell Square...staying here was appealing, although the $500+ cost per night a tad off-putting

the hotel was clad in the-au-lait (tea-with milk) terracotta...built in 1898, each room had an en-suite bathroom, an innovation at the time..it seemed positively palatial

Amazing detail and clarity in this capture of this extremely beautiful structure. The juxtaposition of the red bus and gentleman in the blue t-shirt enhances the composition nicely. VV++

Beautiful héritage building! If the bus wouldn't have been there I couldn't guess it is in London! Great image! V

A fantastic image! Window washing must be a full time job there.

Great shot. It must have been an incredible feat to build that before the days of super cranes.

It does seem palatial. It looks iconic especially with the bus in the front. Love the arches. V

That’s some fancy looking place! Great with the bus in front too.

Great shot of this very grand hotel, but way too expensive, despite the grandeur.
