American graffiti

Twin Arrows, Arizona

the signs are not so good these days, and primitive in vision...American graffiti has undergone a fall from grace like never before...good luck to friends directly under the heel of authoritarian billionaires...the rest of us can only wonder what went wrong

A warning for the coming American dystopia. V
Marcia Rules23-Mar-2025 14:20
Gritty shot, as is this current life......

What a powerful vision this is!
It feels very end times.
A dystopic vsion that will be hard to forget.

The ugliest thing that street "art" can produce - A real nightmare for me, reinforce by your choice of B&W ! This is particularly right when they spoil nature...Fortunately, there are still artists who develop a real talent !
Marc is right concerning France. (Soon or later I will post a gallery on street-art in Brittany...)

A mono showcase for non artistic graffiti, so well seen and shot and metaphorically spot on. V

Superbe noir et blanc. V

I guess every blank space is fair game
Nirvan Hope23-Mar-2025 03:51
You have transformed this graffiti to coalesce into a dynamic work of art with the camera angle and choice of b&w.

The world view of some people (we know who they are) is all about greed and power for a few, ruination for the rest, and this photo demonstrates the latter!
Don22-Mar-2025 23:07
A ruin both literally and symbolic. We are hearing far too many meaningless graffiti-like statements from certain politicians.
Nick Paoni22-Mar-2025 22:48
It looks like they made optimal use of the space as it would be hard to squeeze even one more tag on the walls.
Johnny JAG22-Mar-2025 22:01
They've wasted a lot of paint saying nothing
janescottcumming22-Mar-2025 21:22
They have covered almost every spot.
Helen Betts22-Mar-2025 21:15
Great shot of this enormous canvas.
Mairéad22-Mar-2025 21:04
It makes a strong graphic statement in B&W.
John Hamers22-Mar-2025 20:49
A lot of meaningless graffity on this building in decay, both on the outer walls and in the inner walls. By choosing this nice POV and the monotones the sadness of this scene is enhanced. V!

il va falloir être patient et attendre ! v
Marc Demoulin22-Mar-2025 20:26
Same in France; every new structure, wall or bridge is ommediately covered by these senseless signs. Fortunately some cities are encouraging true street art and frescoes. V

~Way Cool~ V

I agree, the signs are bad all over, but especially for our good friend to the south. We may get the same, if we elect the Davos elite as our prime minister in the coming election.
