the visit to the city of an old friend precipitated several sessions of out-on-the-town carousing...the lads can still carry on like youngsters, but recovery time takes longer nowadays

Yes I understand :) ! But you are not guilty ! the dim lights in the bottles make them so tempting! I think that the lights in the bottles are the only culprits!
