Active Pass

the cheapest ferry fares across the Salish Sea are early morming and late at night...that's ideal, both for on board traffic, and for rewarding light to be exploited

I can remember island hopping on these ferries. Even towed a rather large sail boat and my pickup onto a ferry to its eventual home on Mayne Island.

These two car ferries must be crossing in opposite directions ... agree it's the best time to catch the best light for photography and for some cheap fares. Great shot, love the reflection of the sunrise on the water. V

Looks like there's also some competition to help keep prices down. 'Tis a great way to travel.
