the park is a tad pale and wan these days, with Autumn colours gone and Spring colours a few
months away...there are occasional breaks between 'atmospheric rivers', once known simply as rainstorms

What JJ Said - muted colours by a fine composition with loads of detail and interest

Very pretty framing and colors here. Seems like everything seems to have a fancy name now.

I like the starkness and warm tones. V

The whole scene is beautiful with the profusion of foreground reeds and the elegant bared trees in the distance.

A pretty scene even without much color. V

The colors do have a subdued beauty, and I love all that wonderful detail throughout the image.

There is much beauty in this somewhat sombre shot, nicely composed too. V

Nicely framed scene. I like the tones. Looks almost as dead as PBase.

That's an interesting wetland even in winter.

The colours may be subdued but the details are superb

Love how the scene is framed by the reeds and branches. Yep rivers they are now, and we are navigating one as I write this. The water is sorely needed here, just wish we could capture more of the runoff.

Still a beautiful scene, even despite the lack of color. Glad to hear you're getting some breaks in that phenomenon.
