Kananaskis Country, Alberta

it's the last 'Monoday' of the year, so here is one more from the Rockies...rising across Upper Kanananaskis Lake is Elpoca Mountain, under typical montane storm clouds

the name Elpoca is a portmanteau of nearby Elbow River, and Pocaterra Creek

The word "portmanteau" sounds strange for French ears as "Porte-manteau" means coat rack. :)
