relaxed

Delta, B.C.

there is such a relaxed atmosphere in the country, with little traffic on the quiet roads...no need to rush along here, and at times no point either

I like the perspective and composition here with the strong vertical and horizontal lines

A wonderful rural setting with the old traditional railroad crossing. I find this an inviting road to follow with the mountains in the distant background. The passing train brings back so many memories. V

Sometimes they are so long they seem to take forever to pass. Not a bad place to sit and count the cars go by.

One may still lose patience waiting for a long slow freight train to pass. V

Corona seems to have slowed down life everywhere, even in the countryside. Fine composition! B

Everyone is in a hurry nowadays. I like the composition with the mailboxes. They add to the feeling of quiet country life. V

Yes those trains can be long and teach one patience.

Sounds like you had ample time to wait for trains to pass by. It does look like a pleasant place!

The slow pace gives ya plenty of time to relax and watch the freight train go slowly by.

You wouldn't get too far if you were trying to rush at this point, but I agree with your sentiments, which this lovely shot exemplifies. V

Well shot with this perspective and long focal length.

It does look like this train is continuing unperturbed along its tracks.

An impression to be far from home (to me) : new roads, new horizons to discover...V.

Yes, definitely a laid back vibe in spite of the presence of various kinds of infrastructure.
