Howe Sound

the small park at Porteau Cove offers a somewhat rugged place for paddling and swimming, refreshing on a very warm day

the Coast Guard helicopter likely helped in a rescue effort underway, involving a boat, and people being brought to ambulances in the parking area...summer fun can be risky
