when this building opened in 1913, the street level storefront was firstly the Kwong Fong Grocery, but over time changed hands and focus

I bet their take out business is still doing decently, hopefully. We have been doing quite a bit of that.

I like the colors. Nice how they fit the letters in there so perfectly.

This color is absolutely mesmerizing!
It makes me feel that I have left my boring reality and entered a place where there is a promise of so much more.

Three letters per window pane. It all worked out. Cool!
However Canada Post needs to put some shims under that mailbox.

Could be somewhere in the old Kowloon or the old Singapore...V.

Nice to see the old store fronts, there is a certain charm about them. V

Well framed and I like the colors and signs. Good Dim Sum restaurants should never be flashy.
Bill Miller18-Jun-2020 22:43
Good details in this colourful shop front

I really like what you've done here. The inviting open door contrasts with the woman wearing a mask- sign of the times. Great shot!
Colin Storey18-Jun-2020 19:28
At least their open, no sign of this happening here for sometime yet.
Nice image of it.
Helen Betts18-Jun-2020 19:24
It does look like a storefront rather than a restaurant, but if the food is good, no worries. You're lucky have Chinese restaurants to choose from; we only have one that isn't great.

Yes...indeed the recovery is going
to be slow. A fine capture, David.
