just across the road from the seashore, the living looked comfy...oddly, the housing was identified as condominiums, although the units seemed more like cottages

A lot of outdoor living area for a "Condominium complex." They certainly do look like cottages!

Maybe they get some special tax break by calling them condos... or maybe it's just false advertising with a fancy name to draw city people.
