straws

Petroglyph National Monument, New Mexico

apparently drinking straws date back thousands of years...about 3,000 BC the Sumerians sensibly used them for quaffing beer, siphoning liquid from the early sediment-laden brews...what these images delineate is not so clear, and may instead have illustrated early wifi

Perhaps, as in much of today's graffiti, the true meaning is only in the mind of the artist...

I'm always fascinated by the rock engravings, it's like a picture book, telling scenes of life of our ancestors. Very clear and sharp details! V

Fashions change and writing systems too, but Beer drinking has been going strong over 5,000 years! I suspect these Petrogylphs become easier to read after consuming multiple IPA's. They probably take on multiple meanings as well, which of course requires repeat readings.
