Chaco

Chaco Canyon, New Mexico

despite the bone-jarring gravel road approach, visiting Chaco Canyon (or Chaco Culture Historical National Monument for the formally inclined) is a must-see when in the Farmington region...the site is marvelous, rife with interest and warm natural colour

the trio in the distance is Dan, Sam, and Marcia

I like the contrast of the walls and rock formation. Nice with the people to add scale to this scene and the blue sky to top it off. "V"

WOW - impressive ruins - how amazing that those walls, sans mortar, have withstood the passage of time !! Looks like not a lot of maintenance has happened here. Super shot V
