The colors really pop and brighten the scene. V

Superb colors by a grey day ! V.

I adore this type of weather! Like Walter said.....

You know it's damp when moss grows at your front door. Really like this image, the perspective, the colors, the mood and of course the lighting. The diffused lighting you have makes for excellent photo-ops David. "V"

The red sure does help here. Interesting how there is only moss on the ground in front of the red building.
marie-jose wolff05-Jan-2019 12:29
despite the bad weather, the colors of the façades remain bright! V

A nice touch of color on a gray day.
John Vass05-Jan-2019 05:29
But the moss green really sets off the red! Yeah! This weather sucks!
Nick Paoni05-Jan-2019 02:38
At least no bright sunlight to wash out the colors. Love the red color on the house.
Gill Kopy05-Jan-2019 01:50
Amazing what a coat of paint does, although I bet this looks very attractive come summer !
Neil Marcus05-Jan-2019 01:34
Liven the scene. This does work here.
Dennis Hoyne05-Jan-2019 01:01
It can be challenging to get some colorful shots this time of year, you succeeded, I love the contrast.
LynnH05-Jan-2019 00:04
Quite the difference between these two. I like the red!
Hank Vander Velde04-Jan-2019 23:17
At least the nice red colour livens up the rather dreary scene David.
Helen Betts04-Jan-2019 22:53
The red does liven it up a bit, but I'd sure find it depressing to live in this kind of gloom. Well spotted and captured in any case.

You managed to find a very colorful scene, on a dreary day!!
