measuring time has been a human obsession for millennia...of course the numbers assigned are all arbitrary...tonight we once again have to turn back the clocks in order to adopt 'standard time', a four month period, in stark contrast to the annual eight months of 'daylight savings time'...not sure if such major arrangements should be entrusted to politicians (or managers for that matter)...at any rate decided to wind up my only watch just to have a baseline, although it will be off by one hour in the morning!!....luckily it is always time for a Guinness
