just as Minolta faded away, to be absorbed by Sony, so many pbase friends are fading away too...participation seems reduced this year...hopefully the site continues operating for a while longer

Wonderful neon capture. I certainly hope this sites continues --- I have way to much content to port over to anyplace else. And I have yet to find any other site with the same sense of community as here. It's a shame that our administrators can only muster infrequent and basic maintenance.

Share your sentiment David. The PBase site seems to be on auto-pilot with no contact with owners/customer service. Participation down to a fraction of what it once was. Not too late to look for alternate sites to at least keep in touch with old friends. Those looking for a similar model to what PBase was in its hey day will look in vain.

Great night shot! I hadn't realized what happened to Minolta. People seem to reappear, but I do agree that participation is down significantly.
