not too far into the park came upon another herd of bison grazing near the loop road...we stayed close to the car, with its doors left wide open, as the thrilling encounter was not without danger...bison can be ill tempered and aggressive


admittedly they do look a tad ragged here, as the Spring moulting is well underway
