downtown parking is not so simple these days, as the pushback on personal vehicles becomes more intense...after we scoured the streets, and finally found a free space, the more expensive options came into view

Parking has definitely become a real problem here, and we sometimes have to resort to expensive garages, although Tim is pretty good at finding places. Great POV and composition, and glad you didn't have to use this option.
