re-vitalization

this relatively new tower echoes the classic 'flatiron' design of earlier times..it is a key component in the re-vitalization of a depressed area

the multi purpose structure, containing homes, businesses, and a college, is located in the older, Gastown area of the city

If they insist on building tall buildings they should make them look this good.

Striking architecture and beautiful lighting, David. Looks like it had a fine roof top garden as well. Excellent find. Vote.

Interesting cladding. Looks a bit industrial, which will appeal to the hipsters. Nice to see a depressed area getting a breath of new life. V

A welcome change in design from the all too common ninety degree angles. Nice with the greenery on top.

This shape fascinates me having grown up in NYC and always liked the Flatiron building and read about it's history.
