crumbs

the house I lived in for 19 years, until late spring 2016, is not just toast now, it's actually just crumbs...it finally met its demise this morning

Having stayed there benefitting from your generous hospitality a couple of times I can only see this as a most depressing scene. The bottom floor jam session venue will always be remembered fondly.

I love the inclusion of the pirate skull to add a pillaging narrative.

I'm so sorry. I must bee heartbreaking. V

Must be hard for you to see this with all the memories you have. I also like the skull, did you place this in the frame?

A sad sight

Bitter-sweet of just bitter.?

I think the skull should get past his vanity and just accept his baldness.
Helen Betts29-Jun-2017 14:07
Oh my, that must have been difficult to witness.
Nick Paoni29-Jun-2017 14:04
An emotional scene for sure. The skull helps to set the mood.

Oh wow. Why the tear down? Is someone building a bigger home on the lot? Our town's older homes are being replaced by big homes that look awkward on the small city lots. Oh, and the scull adds a bit of whimsy to this otherwise sad scene.

A real pity ! I can imagine how you feel !
Tom LeRoy29-Jun-2017 07:50
Oh, this is sad, David. The skull is quintessential though. V

Oh, hard to see.

I hope you have tons of photos for good memories of your time there.

Even though you knew it was coming...that's got to hurt a bit! That skull feels a bit like feng shui.... V

What a shame :( Old houses hold the history of the community !! Hate to think what's going to replace it !!

This must have felt depressing/thought provoking.I know how I feel on trips toNY and visit all my old houses, some of which I built.
Kim29-Jun-2017 00:10
Sad to see! As Walter says, the skull is awesome!
Walter Otto Koenig29-Jun-2017 00:05
A pity, it was nice old house. I like the skull in the foreground.
peterjay4528-Jun-2017 23:35
That's incredibly hard for you to see, I'm sure.
Jim Coffman28-Jun-2017 23:22
Probably hard to see it go..
