not to put too fine a point upon it, but the colour scheme here holds a certain resonance for me.. born in Ireland, to a local mother in the occupied north, yet my dad was from the Republic...orange and green are the two complimentary yet contrasting colours associated with the divided island...this seemed like an Irish corner in the gardens, although may not have been so identified by the garden planners
