attractive

hardy marigolds were planted in the flower box to provide long-lasting colour over the summer months...had not anticipated how attractive they are to local bees

this is a macro shot, but does not utilize the TG-3's focus-stacking feature, as by the time ten frames are fired off, the bees inevitably move, and so become a blur...tried that already, with unfortunate results

Great summer capture. Just watch out - I think marigolds are attractive to other critters that eat them!

Let them enjoy the nectar/pollination. I understand that Bees are in jeopardy due to disease.
