this current series of images, from the Sea To Sky Gondola area, have each been identified as being 'near Squamish'...1 1/2 hours drive north of Vancouver, this is a high angle view of Squamish, the town, which is located on the Squamish River, and hence in the Squamish Valley, all named for the Squamish Nation, a group of indigenous people who have occupied territory here for generations
