no shortage of bluster in yesterday's sky...this was actually a test shot though, in order to assess if the camera was working...all of a sudden the viewfinder display was scrambled, limited to a series of capital 'F' symbols, ironically with a 'K' at the end....shooting data like aperture and shutter speed had totally vanished...the topside control screen still displayed info, yet is clearly more awkward as a reference...swapping batteries and verifying lens connections made no difference...re-adjusting to default settings also failed to quell the rogue display...this quick grab shot did confirm that the D90 was still working...today a camera shop specialist suggested a physical problem, yet the repair shop tech suggested an electronic issue...hopefully the adverse development can be readily remedied...otherwise it is down to one SLR, or another cash splash at the local photography outlet,
so...the usually reliable Nikon D90 is now out of commission, and in for repairs...all other options are currently under consideration..
