rainy

at times it seems that Vancouver has two weather systems, the Rainy Season, and the Really Rainy Season...the former is over now, and the latter has set in...that is life on the northwest coast for you
I also thought of this as a potential first image in a new gallery to be named 'grey', in recognition of the annual four months of relatively dismal conditions here...in the end discarded that idea though, to leave room for the occasional more cheerful moment

Well composed image David. Seems to me the lighting in the rainy season is perfect for doing macro work.

I like this candid David ~ the bright green bags pop off the page; the walker with the umbrella anchors the scene beautifully! V
....I like the idea of a rainy gray gallery, maybe with a splash of selective color in each image! ;)

I really like this image, and the grey does not detract one whit! I well remember the grey days from my days of living on the wet coast, and I actually like endless grey days, though a bit of sun here and there is nice. V

An interesting capture with the bicycles protected from abuse by the elements, as does the umbrella on the passerby. Nothing too grey about this image IMO.

Always good to leave room for a cheerful moment. I think the green covering on the bikes adds a bit of cheer to this rainy day scene.

Very well shot to include the 'umbrellad' pedestrian, David.
Rain or snow? Let me think about that. :)

I think we have a similar climate. At least you found a splash of colour on a gray day.

Not only is the person in need of shelter but also the deVincis...terrific anticipation here David. V

I like the grey theme idea; all kinds of colour contrast go well ~ here we have exhibit A - well seen and taken with the dark contrasts! V

Fine feel of a gray day, however the green plastic covers add fun and happiness in this depressive times. V

A nice capture on this gray day. I would think this would be your snowy time.
