Glen Brae

originally known as Glen Brae, this mansion has seen many tenants over the years, including the wealthy lumberman who built it, then the Ku Klux Klan for a year (1925), after which it became a kindergarten, and then a private hospital for elderly women...now it is named Canuck Place, and is a hospice for seriously ill children and their families

Quit a checkered history on display. The Klan & the sick would be in the same categorie.

What a history this house has. The porches, rounded bay windows as well as arches and, trees etc. in the garden are perfect for decorating with Christmas lights.
