A very courageous and well prepared photographer. I've one of those little stools too but am afraid to use it :)
Carol How27-Dec-2012 19:52
Good observation David. That stool is something I could use on many occasions. He really is a bit precarious though!
bill friedlander27-Dec-2012 19:44
Now there is a daring young man! I would love to see the shot he took. V

Yes! Another photographic gadget to add to the 'must have' list (a floppy hat).
Great shot, and yes standing ready here for some cracking new photographic antics.

That must have been an amazing view he was trying to capture. Yikes! Great candid by you.
Bryan Murahashi27-Dec-2012 05:04
Great capture of this well prepared photographer. V

I've never seen a tripod that tall. And you have to use a stool to reach the camera. Great candid of this determined photographer. I bet it was an outstanding composition. V.

Going to new heights in search of a new perspective.

Well seen and captured, David. v.

Ahhh. I am glad you got a picture of this fellow. What isn't apparent in this shot is how close he is to the edge of the gorge. I don't remember there being too much margin for error, especially given his precarious perch.
Phillip Normanton26-Dec-2012 17:14
That looks a bit intrepid!
Walter Otto Koenig26-Dec-2012 16:57
This photographer seems to be determined to get the shot, though the stool and the stance look somewhat precarious to me.
Dan Greenberg26-Dec-2012 16:25
Wow! That is a tall tripod and a precarious looking position. Nicely done David.

Taking pictures is sometimes quite dangerous...V
