Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

a day trip into the Rockies with my son and his family quickly changed direction when the area we wanted to visit was unreachable due to a closed road...a nearby alternative was Lily Lake, also on the itinerary a year ago...this time though the autumn was more advanced....the Aspen trees, and surrounding foliage, were putting on a seasonal show
