sketchy

here's a step down from all the dynamism of the fireworks images..a bit moody even with the sketchy light...in fact I ended up a bit moody myself the other night, as after taking this image the remote cable stopped working...pity, as the blue moon, well one day waned after the actual blue moon, was visible amid the clouds, just out of frame to the top right...try as I might though, the remote just would not work...I guess it's off again to the camera shop (was there just yesterday to pick up a padded case for the new and so far under-utilized 55-300mm) this afternoon for a new cable

Nikon D7000
Nikkor 18-200mm - 1s f/9.0 at 95.0mm iso200 full exif

Fabulous night capture with the touches of light of the skyline. Sorry about the broken remote cable. V

Bummer about the equipment failure. But this is actually a decent consolation "prize" of a capture.

Love the illumination and barely visible surroundings. Moody and wonderful. Hope your cable is fixable. V.

Nice night shot with the streetlights, trip to the camera shop for gadgets sounds like fun.

I love my Canon external cable ~ I'm betting that Nikon makes a similar device. :)
I like how the street lamps cast a bit of light on the street.

Mysterious night. I was moody unable to see the Blue Moon here.
Sounds to me like a good reason to go back to the shop for a mooch.
