fizzled

this sky seemed a bit eerie as it brought back memories of a similar scene a few years ago up in Salmon Arm when a forest fire was burning nearby...in fact though it is another failed sunset...with the wispy clouds at the end of a sunny day I thought we might get one of the rare fiery evening skies, but in the end it fizzled out

I don't think its failed at all. I would be very happy to have captured this. Wonderful comp and great color and light. The clouds really make it. ~BV~

I think it's beautiful. The red is superb against the dark and the sun reflected or behind the high clouds is quite dramatic. V.

The colors might have fizzled but it's still a pretty sunset. Better than watching TV! The silhouette of the gently rolling land mass and the interesting sky make the shot a winner in my book. V
