once in a while you can set aside time for sustained rest...a bit of shopping in the morning and then park the car for the day, putter about the neighbourhood, move some household dust to another corner, sit back and read a bit, and eventually conjure enough warming stew for two or three dinners...but such relaxed days can also turn out relatively uneventful, when the only big moment is the neighbour's car, with the motor seized up and repairs costing more than it's value, being towed away...low key thrills on the west side of town
