Granville Island Market

vendors prosper here with a steady flow of customers...this man though stopped to ask from where the cherries came, and the woman replied that they were from Chile...he then pointed out that the sign was misspelt, reading Chili...off he went then without buying anything...Madame was not amused

I think I would be more concerned about what was used in Chile to make cherries grow that large than the misspelled name....!!
A great journalistic type shot, David :)

A captivating image of this lively market scene, and so nice to have these fruit at this time of year. "V"

Amusing, the woman on the far right...talking on a cell phone? Is she doing some comparison shopping, checking prices at another super market? Fruits seem pricey here, and is all that plastic biodegradable?
Aud Elise Sjøsæther10-Jan-2012 15:28
