with the winter solstice just occurring, there is already a sense of renewal as the sun moves slowly back northward again and the days become longer...our calendar is a bit out of step with the annual solar cycle, yet still marks the season with festive days...Merry Christmas to my wonderful pbase friends, and wish you all a Happy New Year too
