flip the switch

with the afternoon sun breaking through the clouds it looked as if there may be a small window of opportunity for a visit to the park down the hill...so on with the heavy Donegal jumper, the boots, the scarf, the padded oilskin jacket, the warm woollen hat, then grab camera bag and tripod and it's out the door...it was as if a switch had been flipped...I only got as far as the front porch...this sudden downpour putting a damper on my plans

You did well to catch the mood of the downpour. Be glad you're not back in the Emerald Isle: it's a whiter shade of pale at the moment.

See, you don`t have to go far away...to make such a splendid shot from your front door! ;-) Sometimes unplanned things bring nice surprises! :-)
