although it’s getting cold and wet to be sitting outdoors, still a scattering of customers meet at a streetside coffee shop...at least one ready to scoot away for a late night buzz along the downtown streets

They are having hot drinks so it will warm them up sitting outside. Loe the image....don't like coffee so I'd take a hot chocolate. :) Superb image!
