taboo

Kawakawa, North Island

a delicate subject for a photo, almost taboo, but not without some interest...when the small town of Kawakawa decided to build new public toilets they hired famous Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who was living in the area, to design it...as WCs go this one is truly memorable for it’s colourful ceramic tiles and embedded bottles

I do not think that you should drink a lot, before using this place. It might be somewhat hard aiming correctly!!!!! Great capture for sure.

Nice shot. Been there a couple of years ago. Only public toilets I know that people come out of smiling and laughing!

Nice one. I did not know Hundertwasser did public toilets. Very cool documentation. I especially like the bottle window. "V"

Interesting and intriguing documentary photo, I did see the work of this extravagant architect in Vienna (Austria), but I had never seen his version of public toilets!
