After a 5-hour midnight trip from Manila, we took another 5-hour land trip from Baguio City to Kabayan, Benguet. One hour of it was spent on a rough, one-way road. We had a two-hour trek from the Akiki Visitor's Center up to the campsite near the Eddet River. Rain poured as we arrived the camp site. The rain shower was gone early evening. A full moon lighted our night.
