The Pearl Farm Beach Resort is a world-class resort set among coconut palms and white beach. It lies in a secluded cove on the Island Garden City of Samal, off the coast of Davao City.
The 11-hectare resort was once a pearl farm, where thousands of white-lipped oysters, transported from the Sulu Sea, were cultivated for their pink, white and gold pearls.

I stayed on two different rooms during my vacation on Oct. 10-12, 2005. My first night was at the Balai Room, a few steps on the hilltop.
The second night was at the Samal House, located on stilts above the ocean.
