This is a series of shots I took, mainly for my Dad to see since he's quite the birder/bird photographer. You can see his stuff here https://pbase.com/sellbirding .
I took these as experiments to see how fast my new Canon 10D digital SLR, with my super fantastic worth-ever-penny-I-paid-and-more Image Stabilizing Zoom lens, would take in a series of shots. I'm very pleased with the results, as this was a very low light (sun set) situation and I wasn't on stable ground, no tripod nor mono, and was shaking like a leaf. Still I got some pretty good shots!
