We've almost got everybody here in the maternity ward at Turkey Creek. On or about Friday April 14, Brandy had her beautiful baby filly, and she's just as sweet as her mama. At only 3 days old, she has as much energy as foals weeks old. At first her back legs were folded under, but are growing straighter and stronger each day. Still a little bit bowed out, but that hasn't stopped her one bit from cavorting around like a little wild one. Every once in awhile she has to pause and refuel, and charge her batteries with a nap. Then she's back up and ready for more adventure. Absolutely curious about everything, and as sweet as they come. She'll certainly be a prize winner in every way from day one!
