On April 07 I have spent three days in the Dutch island of Texel ( renowned as a birdwatchers' paradise ), with my friend and excellent photographer Mauro Pieroni. Notwithstanding by far I am no more in my youth, this has been my first photographic travel abroad.
My long waiting has been rewarded with good light ( although temperatures were obviously rather cold for a mediterranean ), many birds ( unforgettable the enormous flocks of geese ) and a big unexpected surprise : the flowering of tulips, creating wonderful patchwork of colors.
