Apuan Alps, a chain of mountains very close to the sea of Tuscany, are worldwide renowned for the presence of Carrara's marble. Another reason to visit this scarcely populated area ( mostly included in a natural park ) are the beautiful sceneries you can frequently find. I have begun my knowledge of Apuan Alps ten years ago, but the vastness of the area make me far from being a real expert.
