In this case ( Gray herons , picture taken in Camargue on 2007 ), borns of the year stimulate with its beaks the beak of the adult (at left in photo) to cause regurgitation of food material by which will be fed. Impressive to see the actual assault to adults just returned to the nest, which is inundated by youngs begging. Who gave the bottle to the baby in the middle of the night can easily understand.

Assistere alla vita di una garzaia ( colonia di Aironi in fase riproduttiva ) è un momento di convolgimento totale per il fotonaturalista : visivo, uditivo, olfattivo, e sopratutto emotivo. Vi sono molteplici occasioni di cogliere i comportamenti dei soggetti e le loro interazioni. In questo caso di Airone Cenerino ( immagine scattata in Camargue nel 2007 ) i nati dell'anno, già grandicelli,stimolano col proprio becco il becco del genitore ( a sn nella foto ) per provocare il rigurgito del materiale alimentare col quale saranno nutriti. Impressiona vedere il vero e proprio assalto all'adulto appena rientra al nido,che viene letteralmente sommerso dai figli questuanti. Chi abbia dato il biberon al bebè nel cuore della notte può facilmente comprendere.
