Snowflake/Taylor, AZ Pioneer History

Snowflake, AZ is located on Hwy 77 between Show Low and Holbrook. It has more historic homes and sites on the National Register of Historic Places than any other Arizona community. Snowflake received its name from William Flake and Morman Church Apostle Erastus Snow who settled there in 1878.
