Dear friend: I believe Bandelier is not a National Park but a National Monument. Both the Parks and Monuments are administered by the National Park Service, Dept.of Interior, though. National Parks probably number about 58 at present and are only designated by an act of Congress. These are of exceptional caliber as to the beauty, natural scenery and other cultural or historical values. National Monuments are created by the order of the President. Your photographs of Bandelier are really nice. Congratulations!
