Hawley Lake is one of the highest lakes in the state. It is owned by the Hon-Dah Indian Tribe and an Indian Fishing license is required. Rainbow, cutthroat, brown and brook trout are all found in this lake. Ice fishing is popular and its shoreline is quite accessible. On the way to Hawley there is a beautiful creek just as you turn off hwy. 260. Barry thinks this would be a good area to fish, as well.
