The horrible emerald ash borers create designs under the bark of ash trees. In our woodlands we have lost too many trees already and no end in sight. You know a tree is infected with this tree killer, when the outside of the trees bark turns lighter colors and wood peckers keep visiting. Infected trees usually die with in 3 to 4 years.
