This overlook is very near the Great Smokies. There was a small parking area to stop for a few minutes. On this trip we noticed that many overlooks now have obstructed views. Trees and shrubs now grow untrimmed. I am not sure if this is because of the pandemic or if the Blue Ridge Parkway organization has decided to keep things natural. MP stands for mile .
